CTI Expands Reach of its Coachella Premium Brands

Cofounded by Justin Beck, Cultivation Technologies, Inc., provides infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, genetics, and branding to the legal medical cannabis industry. Headquartered in Irvine, California, Cultivation Technologies, Inc. (CTI), is the owner of the Coachella™ Premium cannabis concentrate and vape cartridges brand.

On June 4, 2018, CTI announced that Coachella™ Premium was expanding its presence across California. The expansion will see Coachella™ Premium products featured in 10 locations across the state, including in such premier dispensaries as Connected Cannabis, Lighthouse, 420 Central, and From the Earth.

Coachella™ Premium acquires craft cannabis from licensed cultivators and uses it to produce high-quality concentrates. With this craft cannabis, production artists create new formulations using advanced technologies available at Coachella Manufacturing. The finished creations undergo rigorous testing and scoring, after which only a few are selected to go to market. Coachella™ Premium products go through full panel testing, a quality that differentiates them from other concentrates in the market that do not go through the same analysis.

The Coachella™ Premium brand features all major concentrates, including sauce, shatter, diamonds, sugar, and batter. Coachella™ Premium vape cartridges include natural fruit and cannabis-derived terpenes.

Founded in 2015 by entrepreneurs Justin Beck, and Rick Probst, Cultivation Technologies, Inc. is a company that provides infrastructure, genetics, technology, and branding to the legal medical cannabis industry. The company recently broke ground on the initial phase of its first project, a fully entitled 111,500-square-foot medical cannabis campus in Coachella, California. The campus will feature 10 cultivation centers of 8,160 square feet each, along with comprehensive centers for extraction, lab testing, centralized processing, and distribution. Each center features a variety of amenities including the company’s proprietary growing and extraction technology which includes an integrated system of custom LEDs, multi-tier racking, and irrigation with custom trays. The meticulous design of the campus will provide maximum yield and better plant health while maintaining cost advantage and scalability. The medical cannabis campus will be the first of its kind in the state, made possible via the collaborative efforts of Cultivation Technologies, Inc. and the City of Coachella in drafting the most robust ordinance in the state of California. In addition to beginning construction on its campus, the company’s subsidiary CTI Genetics has recently entered a partnership for research on Cannabis genetics within Dr. Daniele Piomelli’s lab at the University of California, Irvine. The collaborative research will explore the biology, genomics, and genetic diversity of Cannabis to enable the development of medicinal grade Cannabis cultivars which consistently exhibit defined chemical profiles, with cannabinoid and terpenoid levels optimized for specific therapeutic indications.
