About Me

Founded in 2015 by entrepreneurs Justin Beck, and Rick Probst, Cultivation Technologies, Inc. is a company that provides infrastructure, genetics, technology, and branding to the legal medical cannabis industry. The company recently broke ground on the initial phase of its first project, a fully entitled 111,500-square-foot medical cannabis campus in Coachella, California. The campus will feature 10 cultivation centers of 8,160 square feet each, along with comprehensive centers for extraction, lab testing, centralized processing, and distribution. Each center features a variety of amenities including the company’s proprietary growing and extraction technology which includes an integrated system of custom LEDs, multi-tier racking, and irrigation with custom trays. The meticulous design of the campus will provide maximum yield and better plant health while maintaining cost advantage and scalability. The medical cannabis campus will be the first of its kind in the state, made possible via the collaborative efforts of Cultivation Technologies, Inc. and the City of Coachella in drafting the most robust ordinance in the state of California. In addition to beginning construction on its campus, the company’s subsidiary CTI Genetics has recently entered a partnership for research on Cannabis genetics within Dr. Daniele Piomelli’s lab at the University of California, Irvine. The collaborative research will explore the biology, genomics, and genetic diversity of Cannabis to enable the development of medicinal grade Cannabis cultivars which consistently exhibit defined chemical profiles, with cannabinoid and terpenoid levels optimized for specific therapeutic indications.
